parts of a boat, communiction, nautical awareness, knot tying, rigging a boat.

In the harbor:
leaving & returning to the dock under power, boat preperation & secrurity.

Harnessing the wind:
how sails work, sailing angles, trimming sails, steering.

Safety on the water:
equipment, rules of the road, man overboard recovery.

Each Sail 101 consists of four weeks of training on our volunteers boats.
